Even though my soul chose it, being born into a lower-income family with 3 brothers in the early 90's wasn't something my little dual-gender human self was prepared for.
Whether it was my constant singing & performing, playing dress up in my mom's high heels, being obsessed with mermaids, royalty and witches and being what my mother called "spirited", my family knew something was different about me & I became the "problem child".
Growing up a singing-acting-daydreaming non-binary person in a house full of hard-working country folk, I was conditioned to believe that my royal codes and inner magic were a sign of arrogance and my sexuality/gender were often seen as a threat to everyone around me.
Although my family loved me anyway when I came out as gay at 13 (the term non-binary did not exist) and they supported me in following my dreams of becoming a singer, actor and director, they instilled a deep ancestral belief within me that I had to work HARD to earn what I wanted and that "money doesn't grow on trees".

This is the response I used to give my parents when they would spout off that famous saying that had been passed down for generations.
Programs like this didn't make sense to me even when I was a child but having always had an entrepreneurial spirit, I began working 1 month after my 16th birthday and I didn't stop for 13 long years.
Although I opened my own theatre company at 18, recorded a music album at 20 and had countless creative endeavors, my dreams of being an actor and singer faded into an abyss of corporate ladder climbing and 9 to 5 nonsense as my mental health and physical energy began to deteriorate little by little each year.
At the height of my "successful" corporate career, working 50+ hours per week making someone else A LOT of money. Little did I know that I would experience a life-altering kundalini awakening just two weeks after this picture was taken. (2018)

MY LIFE HAS BEEN ANYTHING BUT...

You might be thinking, "Okay but where does spirituality, metaphysics and shamanism come into the picture?"
Well, unlike many spiritual practitioners who had their first awakening as an adult or in 2020, my first spiritual awakening happened at the age of 12 and I grew up in a house that was very paranormally active.
My family's strong Celtic and Native American lineages allowed for an upbringing filled with talks about spirits, UFO sightings and mediums and at 16 I was gifted my first astrology book and I quickly became obsessed, going on to teach astrology as a side hobby for years.
Then in 2012, at the age of 21, after the traumatizing ending of a karmic relationship, I saw an incredible psychic who told me that I, too, had psychic and mediumship abilities and that my life would forever change at the age of 27.
This is also the time that I signed up for my first Ayahuasca retreat, beginning my, now, 12-year long healing journey with plant spirit medicines.

In 2016, I began hosting sacred mushroom journeys for friends so that they, too, could experience their magic and healing. I had no idea when I took this photo where this magical journey was about to take me.
As predicted by the psychic, 3 months after my 27th birthday I experienced a spontaneous kundalini awakening which led me to not sleeping for 21 days and nearly ending my life more than once.
As you can imagine, this changed the trajectory of my life and from that point forward I began to see auras, my psychic and mediumship abilities sky-rocketed, I experienced over 25 different ascension symptoms and was led to several teachers and mentors who explained to me that I'm a psychic empath and a healer.

It didn't make sense to me at first and I had so much societal conditioning and fear of judgment that I had to heal and work through. But as my gifts and abilities came on full force, I had no choice but to let go of fear and answer the call.
In September 2020, while still working my corporate 9 to 5 job, I launched my website and Instagram under the name "The AstroMedium" and quickly became a sought after psychic medium, astrologer, ascension coach and healer.
In February 2021, on the exact day of my Saturn Return, I put in my two weeks at my soul-sucking corporate job after 10 years, leaving behind my benefits, retirement plans and steady income to pursue my soul-mission full time.
We've gone from 9 to 5 to New Earth leader!
